Guidelines for Abstract Submission

For the 7th Japan-Taiwan-Korea Neurorehabilitation Conference in 2027, we welcome abstracts that share and discuss ongoing research, including clinical trials. Abstracts are classified into the following three categories:

  • Original Research
  • Case Report
  • Research plan / Clinical Trial Protocol

All accepted abstracts will be presented as posters.

Abstract Format

Abstracts must be written in English. Presentations must also be given in English.

Title:

Use a concise title that accurately represents the content of the abstract. The title should be written in Title Case and must not exceed 30 words.

Authors:

A maximum of 10 authors may be listed.

Affiliations:

Up to 10 affiliations may be included. Please list the country, institution, and department for each affiliation.

Abstract Body:

The abstract body must not exceed 300 words.

Original Research abstracts should be structured as follows:

  • Purpose
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion

Case Report abstracts should be structured as follows:

  • Background
  • Case Description
  • Discussion/Conclusion

Research Plan / Clinical Trial Protocol abstracts should be structured as follows:

  • Background
  • Objectives
  • Methods/Design
  • Expected Results or Current Status
  • Discussion

Notification of Acceptance

Notification of acceptance will be sent by email.

The final decision on abstract acceptance will be made by the Academic Committee.

The presenting author must complete conference registration by the specified deadline. Failure to register may result in withdrawal of the presentation from the program.

Poster Preparation and On-site Presentation Instructions

Poster format

The poster size is 90 cm wide and 160 cm high. Please prepare your poster in the size. The poster must be legible from at least 1 meter away. The poster title, author names, and affiliation should be placed at the top of the poster.

The content should be clear and understandable without an oral explanation. For Original Research presentations, the poster should be organized in the order of Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.

Items to be included on the poster

Please include the following statements on your poster, where applicable:

  • Conflict of Interest (COI) Disclosure
    Please include a conflict of interest disclosure statement on your poster. If you have no conflicts of interest to disclose, please state: “The authors have no conflicts of interest to disclose.”
  • Ethics Approval and Informed Consent
    For studies involving human participants, please include a statement regarding ethics approval and informed consent, where applicable.
  • Clinical Trial Registration
    For interventional clinical trials, please include the clinical trial registration number, where applicable.

Poster mounting and presentation

Please mount your poster on the board assigned to you.

All presenters are requested to stand by their posters at least 10 minutes before their assigned poster session and be prepared to present their work and answer questions.

Abstract Submission Procedure

  • Click “Abstract Format Template (Word)” on this page to download the abstract template.
  • Complete all required information in the template and save the file as a Word file.
  • Please name your abstract file according to the following format:
    PresenterLastName_TitleKeyword.docx
    Example: Yamada_GaitRecovery.docx
  • Click "Submit Abstract (Google Forms)" on this page.
  • In the Google Form, enter the required information, including your email address, presenting author’s name, membership, country/region of affiliation, and institution.
  • Upload the completed abstract file prepared using the designated Word template.
  • Click “Submit” to complete your abstract submission.
